OMENS Classification
Staging of craniofacial (hemifacial) microsomia across the orbit, mandible, ear, facial nerve, and soft tissue.
Method
Each of the five components is graded independently on the affected side, and the result is reported as a combined code such as O1 M2A E2 N0 S1. Bilateral cases are classified side by side.
The OMENS-Plus extension adds extracraniofacial anomalies such as vertebral, cardiac, and renal findings, which are not graded here.
