CranioCalc is intended solely for research and educational purposes. Content on this site does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations for any individual, nor does it supersede the clinical judgment of a qualified healthcare professional. The calculators and prediction models are not FDA-cleared or otherwise approved as medical devices. Predictions reflect outcomes among patient populations similar to those used to develop each model and may not be generalizable to individual patients.

Accuracy

We work to implement every formula and model correctly, but errors are possible. Check important results against the cited sources. Research digest summaries are generated automatically by a language model and can be incomplete or wrong. Meeting dates come from third party websites and can change without notice.

Data Sources

Article titles and abstracts are from PubMed, courtesy of the US National Library of Medicine. Models labeled as ACS NSQIP models use data from the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program. The American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program and the hospitals participating in the ACS NSQIP are the source of the data used herein; they have not verified and are not responsible for the statistical validity of the data analysis or the conclusions derived by the authors.

Privacy

• Calculators: nothing. Calculations run in your browser and the values you enter are never sent to us.
• Digest sign-up and collaboration messages: the email address and details you submit, used only to send the digest or reply to you. We don't sell or share them. Ask us at any time to delete them.
• Hosting: We don't use analytics or advertising cookies.
